Supportive Diagnostics

Testing & Diagnostic Support

At Ravora Health, we may recommend additional testing when it can help guide treatment. Our clinicians can order routine laboratory testing through Labcorp and, when clinically appropriate, GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing to provide added information that may support psychiatric medication decision-making.

Labcorp Testing

We can order lab work through Labcorp as part of your psychiatric care when medically appropriate. Depending on the test, you may complete specimen collection at a Labcorp patient service center or follow the instructions provided by your clinician.

  • Routine bloodwork (as clinically indicated)
  • Metabolic and thyroid panels
  • Drug level monitoring
  • Coordination with your care team

GeneSight Testing

GeneSight is a pharmacogenomic test that may help show how your genes could affect your response to certain psychiatric medications. This test does not diagnose mental health conditions and does not determine the single “best” medication, but it can provide useful information to help inform treatment planning.

  • Ordered when clinically appropriate
  • Non-invasive cheek swab collection
  • Results reviewed with your clinician
  • One tool among many — not a guarantee

Billing Note: Testing may be billed separately by the laboratory or testing company, and coverage varies by insurance plan. We encourage patients to verify their coverage prior to testing.

Questions about testing? Request an appointment to discuss whether lab work or GeneSight testing may be appropriate for your care.
